Haley Rayfield is a soprano from the Chicago area and a recent graduate of Ithaca College with a B.M. in Vocal Performance and Music Education, where she studied with Patrice Pastore. Most recently, Rayfield played the role of Léontine in Chevalier de Saint-Georges’ L’amant anonyme at Ithaca College. Additional operatic credits include singing Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus in Northwestern University’s Vocal Intensive Seminar, Blanche de la Force in Dialogues des Carmélites and Servilia in La Clemenza di Tito in Ithaca College’s Opera Studio Program, as well as singing in the chorus of Viardot’s Le Dernier Sorcier while covering La Reine and playing a Daughter/Edith Cover in Pirates of Penzance, both at Ithaca College. Rayfield has completed three years as a fellow with the Opera Festival of Chicago, assisting with the production and management of each of their summer opera festival seasons. Apart from operatic engagements, Rayfield currently works as an elementary music teacher in upstate New York.
